Summary

MewBox is designed to be private by default. Your notes, plans and files are stored only on your device. We do not operate servers that store your content, we do not require an account, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect, store or have access to:

  • The notes, plans, photos, videos, documents or any other content you create or import in MewBox.
  • Your name, e-mail address, phone number or contacts.
  • Your location.
  • Usage analytics, advertising identifiers or device fingerprints.

Data stored on your device

All content you add to MewBox is kept in the app’s private storage on your device and protected by iOS security features. Access inside the app can be protected with a passcode and, if you choose, Face ID or Touch ID. Biometric data is handled entirely by iOS — MewBox never receives it.

Your device’s own backups (for example an encrypted iPhone backup) may include MewBox data according to your iOS settings. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple, not by us.

Permissions

MewBox may ask for permissions such as access to Photos, Camera, Files or Notifications only when you use a feature that needs them. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Granting access does not send any data to us.

Purchases

If MewBox offers in-app purchases, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to those transactions.

Information you send us

If you contact us by e-mail, we receive your e-mail address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you and to improve MewBox, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. Please do not include private content from the app in your message.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or third-party trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. Your hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

Children

MewBox is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not hold your personal data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can delete all MewBox data at any time by deleting the app from your device. If you have contacted us by e-mail, you can ask us to delete that correspondence.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
